In the heart of Sri Lanka, a powerful movement was born earlier this year—a movement dedicated to the well-being and nourishment of underprivileged school children. Welcome to Social Battalion, an NGO fueled by compassion and driven by a mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

Since its inception, Social Battalion has swiftly made its mark, impacting the lives of countless young students. Today, we proudly announce that within just four months, our dedicated team has successfully served an astonishing 5000 plates of nutritious meals. This achievement speaks volumes about our commitment to uplifting the community and ensuring that no child goes to bed hungry.

Our journey began in February, when Social Battalion launched the Lunch Project at Shri Saddrmodaya Vidyalaya in Colombo 05. This project aimed to provide wholesome meals to the students, offering them the vital nourishment they deserve. With the unwavering support of our friends, independent donors, and well-wishers, we were able to kick-start this project and witness its remarkable impact firsthand.

The success of the Lunch Project has fueled our passion to do even more for the deserving children of Sri Lanka. Social Battalion envisions a future filled with transformative projects, with a focus on education, health, and holistic development.
